St Clair Stud own two direct sons and a daughter off "Champion De Smaragd 2". All have produced winners for us and form our magnificent Jan Aarden breeding team. We own over 40 pairs of this famous super distance family. Every single pigeon is bred down from Dutch or Belgian National or International winners.

"Champion De Smaragd 2" was purchased for the sum of 77,000 pounds. ( US$110,000).

History was made on the Continent when a full sister of "Champion De Smaragd 2" repeated the feat of her brother when she went on to win..........

Winner of 1st Prize Open National 1st Open Hens International, 10th Open International total of 13,033 birds from Barcelona 750 miles at only 2 years of age.

Sent back to Barcelona again as a 3 year old to win 1st Open National, 2nd Open Hens International flying 135 miles further than the hen that beat her. 16th Open Barcelona International total. This time from a greatly increased entry of 17,060 birds. She was purchased for a sum of 22,000 pounds US$40,000.

"Champion De Smaragd 1" full sister to "Champion De Smaragd 2", are unique. Never before have full brother & sister won 1st Open in the Worlds greatest race, the Barcelona National, the supreme test at 750 miles.
